Hip Hop critics, and fans alike, tend to pretty much color within the lines when it comes to legends. Because it's a Dilla beat, or because the track is from Wu Tang Clan, it automatically garners praise.
Don't get me wrong, most of the time a Dilla beat
and a Wu track are gonna deserve any praise they get, but this ain't one of those times.
"Clap 2010" is mediocre Wu at best. That beat is borderline sleep-inducing and Rae's verse, the best on the song, sounds like a leftover from OBCL2.
