I been listening to this tape for a couple days now but I didn't think it'd be too smart towards my internets cred to be unleashing some ish like this in my first couple days of blogging as many on the internet aren't exactly in love with Gucci Mane and his whole geeked up, bad-pronunciation, uber-mainstream steez.
BUT, I just read this post on Combat Jack's joint and I'm feeling a little bit more confident about posting some of the Dirty South rappers I like now.
The thing is, you can't expect lyricism when listening to Gucci Mane. If you just go in expecting a dope, speaker rattling beat and a bunch of 4th grade level metaphors you'll learn to appreciate it, ha. Gucci really isn't that bad of a rapper, he's just a hit-maker, that's what he does. Accept it or don't listen to him.
